💙 In Loving Memory, Happy Birthday my love!!

Updated: Sep 1

-Alka Goel

Today, on your birthday, I honor the most selfless, loving, and caring soul I’ve ever known - my husband, my best friend, and the most incredible father and son.

You left us on Ram Navami, during the sacred early hours known as Brahma Muhurta, on April 6th, 2025. In Hinduism, this time is considered the holiest part of the day - when the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds is thinnest, the mind is pure, and the soul is closest to divine energies. It feels deeply symbolic that you departed during such a sacred moment.

Life hasn’t felt the same since, but your love continues to surround us - in every quiet moment, every smile, and every memory that brings both tears and strength.

You gave endlessly, loved deeply, and lived with grace. Your kindness touched everyone around you, and your legacy lives on in the values you stood for and the love you gave so freely.

“Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch.” — J.K. Rowling

Today, we celebrate you - not just for the day you were born, but for the beautiful life you lived. I miss you more than words can express, but I carry you with me, always.

And if there is an afterlife, I pray to be your wife in every one of them.

Happy Birthday, my love.

Forever in our hearts. 💫

Dear Bhai, Was really unfair of you to go so early. We were so looking forward to seeing you in Seattle or Bay Area. Instead, we are left...

Keep his spirit alive through the causes he loved.

Amit left on Ram Navami, in the sacred Brahma Muhurta on April 6, 2025 - the hour when the soul is said to be closest to the divine. His passing in that holy moment is a blessed and poignant farewell according to Hinduism.

On his last day, Amit rejoiced at a family wedding and was lovingly honored by hotel staff he had befriended during two weeks of travel, with cake and songs. Before his passing, he journeyed to London and was in Delhi to reunite with his family. With plans to visit New York, Las Vegas, and Hawaii, he departed this world while pursuing what he loved, surrounded by those dearest to him.
