Deepak Saxena: Tribute

I n Amit did the whole of schooling together. We were literally next door neighbours n I recall innumerable evenings when we used to end up in each other's house. Everyday used to start with bus journey to school together, still remember his starched n impeccably ironed shirt n shining shoes! RIP Amit, see you in next life.

Keep his spirit alive through the causes he loved.

Amit left on Ram Navami, in the sacred Brahma Muhurta on April 6, 2025 - the hour when the soul is said to be closest to the divine. His passing in that holy moment is a blessed and poignant farewell according to Hinduism.

On his last day, Amit rejoiced at a family wedding and was lovingly honored by hotel staff he had befriended during two weeks of travel, with cake and songs. Before his passing, he journeyed to London and was in Delhi to reunite with his family. With plans to visit New York, Las Vegas, and Hawaii, he departed this world while pursuing what he loved, surrounded by those dearest to him.
